Ministry of Education and Science Proposes Reducing the Number of Official Vehicles
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia proposes to withdraw three out of eleven vehicles serving the ministry and transfer them to the State Property Management Committee for subsequent sale. This issue is included in the agenda of today's government meeting.
Due to the engine displacement and wear of the vehicles—specifically the "TOYOTA LC PRADO," "TOYOTA CAMRY," and "HYUNDAI AZERA"—operating and maintaining them has become quite costly and inefficient for the ministry.
In addition to the Ministry of Education and Science, the agenda also includes a proposal for the State Revenue Committee to transfer twenty vehicles to the State Property Management Committee. As part of the efforts to reduce expenses related to the operation of official vehicles and to streamline the number of vehicles in the public administration system, it is planned to decrease the number of vehicles assigned to the State Revenue Committee.
