Kazakhstan Government to Compensate $10,500 to Families of Aviation Disaster Victims
The government of Kazakhstan will pay 4 million tenge (approximately $10,500) to the families of those who perished in the Bek Air plane crash. This announcement was made by Prime Minister Askar Mamin on December 27 during a session of the governmental commission investigating the causes of the aircraft disaster.
“By the instruction of the head of state, all families of the victims of the aviation disaster will receive 4 million tenge. Necessary financial assistance will also be provided to all those affected,” Mamin stated, as quoted by the press service of the Prime Minister.
