Two of the Four Family Members Found Dead in Alaverdi Were Children Aged 14 and 12

On December 25 at 1:45 PM, a report was received that a team of emergency responders had discovered four bodies in apartment 2 of building 2 in the Sanahin-Sarahart neighborhood of Alaverdi.

The deceased included two parents and their two children, aged 12 and 14. The Armenian police reported that preliminary information indicates the family suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning. Earlier reports indicated that police and investigators found the parents and one child in the living room on the floor, while the other child was found in the bedroom.
