Armen Sarkissian Continues Year-End Meetings

The President of the Republic, Armen Sarkissian, continues year-end meetings with representatives of various political and public organizations, as well as the legal community.

According to the press service of the President's Office, President Sarkissian has held meetings with the representative of the Supreme Body of the ARFD, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, and members of the Supreme Body, Artsvik Minasian, Shaghik Marukhyan, and Ashot Simonyan. Additionally, he met with the Dean of the Faculty of Law at Yerevan State University, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, and Academician of the National Academy of Sciences, Gagik Ghazinyan, the Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, President of the Helsinki Committee of Armenia, Avetik Ishkhanyan, co-founder of the NGO 'Legal Path', Ruben Melikyan, and others.

During the meetings, discussions focused on political and economic issues, reforms in the judicial and legal systems, the protection of human rights, amendments to the constitutional law on the Constitutional Court, and several other issues.
