VIDEO: Police Reminders Ahead of the New Year
The Police have reminded on their Facebook page about the penalties for certain violations of traffic regulations as the New Year approaches. Driving vehicles under the influence of alcohol, provided that the driver is only under the influence of alcohol and the offense does not include the features of parts two to six of Article 126 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Republic of Armenia, results in a fine of 150,000 drams.
Driving without a driver's license or other documents, or with an expired driver's license or other expired documents, incurs a fine of 3,000 drams. Violating the transparency level of windows, driving with tinted front windows, or operating vehicles with covered curtains in violation of regulations results in a fine of 30,000 drams.
Throwing trash from a vehicle leads to a fine of 25,000 drams.
