Large Quantity of Meat Sold Under Unsanitary Conditions Banned: SARM
The State Service for Food Safety (SARM) informs that considering the pre-holiday surge in food commerce and the accompanying increase in food safety violations, the Yerevan Center of the State Food Safety Inspection Body and the territorial centers in the regions will also operate on weekends.
On December 21 and 22, the inspection specialists, in cooperation with local self-government bodies and the police, conducted inspections throughout the country aiming to prevent street trading of animal origin products. The sale of a large quantity of meat in unsanitary conditions on the streets has been banned.
