Tension at Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex: Police Arrive
There is a tense situation at the Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex. Police officers have arrived on the scene.
In a live broadcast by Factor.tv, Ashot Bleyan called the Yerevan Council member from the 'My Step' faction, Arthur Isperyan. “The police have arrived in an organized manner. The head of the administrative community, knowing about the issue, has left for a wedding. The mayor is not responding. At least let the council make a decision,” he stated.
Bleyan added that they are ensuring the right to free movement for students, teachers, and parents. Police responded that if the relevant authorities arrive and say to stop the action, they will comply.
It is recalled that the director of the educational complex, Ashot Bleyan, made a statement saying, “After all this, on a Saturday, the eve of a holiday, they want to illegally resume the construction of the fence between kindergarten No. 93 and the North School-Arts Complex in the educational garden. We will once again create a live barrier to protect our rights. I invite everyone who is a participant, stakeholder, or friend of the 'Educational Garden in Residential Neighborhood' project and the 'Community Without Fences' initiative. I am here on the spot.”
