Expired Food Discovered in Yerevan Shops Following Inspections
Employees of the Trade and Services Department of the Yerevan Municipality are currently conducting inspections in shops throughout the capital. According to the city administration, inspections were carried out yesterday at the "Vas" supermarkets operated by "V.A.S. Group" LLC located at 6 M. Khorenatsi Street and 1/51 Gyujyan Street.
Expired sausages, hot dogs, chocolate candies, tea, children's cotton candy, as well as salads and various dishes without production date labels have been discovered. As a result, relevant administrative offense reports have been drawn up based on Article 158, Part 1 of the Administrative Violations Code of the Republic of Armenia.
The Yerevan Municipality informs that oversight of trade, public catering, and household service establishments will be ongoing, and individuals who violate regulations will be held accountable. Citizens are urged to be more attentive while shopping ahead of the New Year, and businesses are encouraged to act responsibly.
