Forced Repatriated Migrants to Receive State Support
Since 2020, forced repatriated migrants in Armenia will receive state support. This was announced during a press conference by Irina Davtyan, Deputy Head of the Migration Service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia.
“International and public organizations provide support to those who return voluntarily. The funding side is interested in ensuring that people return voluntarily. As a result, there is a situation where forced repatriates are left without assistance. They are our citizens, and it has been decided that certain support should be provided,” said Irina Davtyan.
