Car Accident in Kotayk Province: Honda Fit Collides with Volkswagen Owned by 'Athens' LLC, One Injured

Today, on December 16, a car accident occurred in Kotayk Province. Around 09:00, vehicles operated by residents of Yerevan collided on the Yerevan-Sevan highway at the 46.5 km mark. The Honda Fit, driven by 42-year-old Anahit P., with license plate 35 TM 579, collided with a Volkswagen, driven by 49-year-old Norik S., with license plate 940 AM 61.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, following the accident, Anahit P. sought medical assistance at the 'Hrazdan' medical center.

Officers from the Road Police's 2nd Officer Battalion, 3rd Company, arrived at the scene under the command of Battalion Commander Arthur Petrosyan and Company Commander Sarkis Bagratyan. An operational group from the Hrazdan division of the police, led by division chief Artak Ghazaryan, also promptly arrived.

The investigative operations at the site were conducted by Road Police investigator Mais Badoyan from the 2nd Officer Battalion's 3rd Company, who is preparing materials regarding the incident. According to G. Shamshyan’s information, the Volkswagen is registered under 'Athens' LLC, and its driver, Norik S., is employed by the same company.
