The ‘Times’: The Revenue Committee Businessmen Officials. David Ananyan Also Owns an Accounting Firm
The newspaper ‘Times’ writes: “It has been repeatedly stated that the employees of the Revenue Committee engage in blatant business activities while holding official positions. However, these publications have had no consequences, except for the fact that these officials have removed mentions of their business ownership from their Facebook pages or other platforms.
Recently, we encountered another example. Specifically, the Chief Tax Inspector of Large Taxpayers of the Revenue Committee, Gohar Bostanjyan, is also the director of the ‘Anushak’ beauty salon. This information can also be found in the ‘Diaspora’ information system. Gohar Bostanjyan also has an accounting firm, which, however, is registered under the name of her husband, Stepan Pashayan.
In general, it is common for tax employees to open accounting firms and resolve the issues of business owners with the tax authorities in a way that ensures both the wolves are fed and the lambs survive. The head of the Revenue Committee, David Ananyan, also has such an accounting firm.”
