No Systemic Corruption, But This Does Not Mean There Are No Corruption Phenomena: Pashinyan
Today, on the International Anti-Corruption Day, a discussion titled “Fighting Corruption for Sustainable Development Goals” was organized, featuring Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
During his speech at the event, Pashinyan stated: “In my understanding, systemic corruption is when every profit existing within corrupt rings flows upwards and reaches the very top. I am pleased and proud to state that yes, there is no systemic corruption in Armenia, but this does not mean that there are no corruption phenomena in Armenia. It is very important to note that there is a political will in Armenia to eradicate corruption, and not just to fight against it,” emphasized Pashinyan at the beginning of his speech.
