Who is the newly appointed head of the Cadastre Committee?

Today, Suren Tovmasyan was appointed the head of the Cadastre Committee.

Tovmasyan was born on February 1, 1986, in the village of Pkokh-Vedi, Ararat Province. He studied from 2006 to 2010 at the Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction, specializing in "Urban Cadastre," obtaining a bachelor's degree in engineering. From 2010 to 2012, he continued his studies at the same university in the field of "Urban Cadastre and Applied Geodesy," receiving a master's degree in engineering.

From 2012 to 2014, he was a candidate for a scientific degree at the Armenian National University of Architecture and Construction. Since 2013, he has been a doctoral student at the Department of Engineering Geodesy of the same university.

His career began in 2008 as an assistant geodesist at Artyun LLC. From 2008 to 2010, he worked as a geodesist at Arpa-Sevan LLC. Since 2010, he has been employed as a geodesist at the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia. From 2010 to 2012, he worked as a geodesist and technical supervisor in the project of the Millennium Challenge Corporation Armenia.

In 2012, he participated as a geodesist in the "Urgent Irrigation Systems Program." Since 2013, he has served as a lecturer at the Department of Engineering Geodesy. He was involved as a geodesist in the "Urgent Irrigation Systems Program" in 2013. From 2014, he worked as a geodesist at the State Water Management of the Ministry of Territorial Administration. Since 2015, he has been working as a geodesist at the State Water Management of the Ministry of Agriculture and temporarily held the position of head of the Department of Engineering Geodesy at the National University of Architecture and Construction.

He is the author of 7 scientific and educational-methodical works.
