Arsen Torosyan Reveals Who Ordered an Article Against Him
The Minister of Health of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, stated on his Facebook page: "The ordered article was commissioned by Philip Morris against me in anticipation of the adoption of the anti-smoking bill.
When we tell our colleagues that opposing the prohibition of displaying tobacco products can justifiably be associated with protecting the interests of the tobacco industry, they get offended. The ban on the display of tobacco products is one of the most effective anti-smoking tools, especially aimed at keeping teenagers and children away from tobacco. This is precisely why its implementation causes convulsions in the industry, as they will lose a large number of long-term customers who could smoke and gradually harm themselves.
P.S. Of course, the website later removed the note about the commissioned nature of the article, but screenshots tend to have a long shelf-life."
