Several Officials Have Fled and Are Avoiding Presenting Themselves to the Pre-Trial Authority: Kocharyan
During the announcement hour in the National Assembly, Andrean Kocharyan, a member of the My Step faction, addressed the relevant authorities to ensure that several former officials, who are implicated in various cases, but are not in Armenia and have not appeared before the pre-trial authorities, are returned to the country.
The individuals in question are Mikayel Harutyunyan, Vahagn Harutyunyan, Mihran Poghosyan, and Gevorg Kostanyan.
“By avoiding their appearance and responding to questions from the pre-trial authorities, these individuals prove that they not only undermined the structures they led but also overshadowed the paths of many professional staff who carried out their duties diligently in such murky conditions. The relevant authorities must take steps to bring them back home,” stated Andrean Kocharyan during his speech. He added, “The revelation of March 1 will not only restore justice but will also help the families of victims and the deceased to uncover the truth, and will ultimately close a tragic chapter for the state.”
