Request to Release Kocharyan on Personal Guarantee Not Considered

The defense team of Robert Kocharyan intended to petition for the change of his detention to personal guarantee during today's court session. The lawyers requested that an additional session be scheduled this week to consider the matter before the judge goes on vacation.

It should be noted that Judge Danibekyan announced today that he will be on vacation from December 10 to 30. The judge suggested submitting the petition now. However, Defense Attorney Alumyants stated that it is technically impossible due to the inability of the guarantors to appear in court today.

The judge noted that, due to his busy schedule, he cannot schedule another session this week. Consequently, the defense team postponed the submission of the petition.
