Next Court Hearing in March 1 Case Set for Next Year, Date Announced
The Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, presided over by Anna Danibekyan, has suspended the discussion regarding lawyer Karen Mejlumyan's motion to terminate the criminal prosecution against Seyran Ohanyan.
Considering that Judge Danibekyan will be on annual leave from December 10 to December 30, the next court hearing has been scheduled for January 9, 2020, at 1:00 PM.
During the discussion of the motion, members of the legal team for Armenia's second president Robert Kocharyan noted that they also have a similar motion, which should be discussed separately. They highlighted that despite the commonalities in the justified parts, there are also certain differences: the subject and requests of the motions are different and pertain to different individuals.
