Armenian MPs Receive $1.9 Million in Bonuses

According to Irakanum.am, members of the National Assembly of Armenia are receiving significant bonuses. Reports indicate that from January to November, MPs and staff received bonuses 14 times.

This raises the question: if there are 12 months in a year, and November includes only 10 months, how is it possible that bonuses were received 14 times? It seems that there were some months when MPs and staff received bonuses multiple times.

This information was obtained from a written response to an inquiry from the National Assembly staff, which specifically noted that the total amount of the 14 bonuses granted during this period was 909 million drams. This is equivalent to $1.9 million.
