Putin Was Well Acquainted with Both Gohar and Her Husband, Peskov

Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed condolences regarding the death of renowned spy Gohar Vardanyan. Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president, informed journalists about this, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“Putin has extended his condolences to the relatives and loved ones of Gohar Vardanyan. Without Gohar Vardanyan, and without her husband Gevorg, the history of our world could have taken a different course,” he stated to reporters.

Peskov emphasized that the Russian president was well acquainted with both Gohar and Gevorg. After her husband’s death, Gohar visited Putin, and he also went to visit her,” added the press secretary of the state leader.
