Independent Judicial System? Edmon Marukyan's Remark
The head of the 'Enlightened Armenia' parliamentary faction, Edmon Marukyan, made the following remark on his Facebook page: 'There was a representative of the judicial authority in the National Assembly hall who has declared so much property and income that they could probably buy the National Assembly building. So much for an independent judicial system… Happy 15th anniversary to the Human Rights Defender!'
