40-Year-Old Woman Struck by Train on Masis-Yerevan Road

A driver noticed a woman on the tracks, sounded the horn, and applied the brakes. Despite these measures, avoiding the accident was not possible. According to Sputnik Armenia, a woman approximately 40 years old fell under a train traveling from Yerevan to Yeraskh. She died at the scene.

The incident occurred on the section of track adjacent to the road leading from Masis to Nerk’in Charbakh. Emergency responders are currently on site, including investigators and police officers who are working to identify the deceased woman. The investigation will clarify all circumstances surrounding the incident.
