Pashinyan Discusses Peace Agenda and TRIPP Project with Arab Ambassadors
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors of Arab countries accredited in Armenia. The Prime Minister emphasized the development of relations with Arab countries and deepening cooperation, highlighting the historical and cultural ties that have been established between Armenia and Arab nations.
Specifically, Nikol Pashinyan noted that the Armenian government is interested in promoting new initiatives aimed at deepening political, diplomatic, and economic ties.
The discussions included efforts aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region. In this context, the interlocutors underscored the importance of the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan as a result of the summit held in Washington on August 8, 2025.
The ambassadors expressed gratitude for organizing such a meeting format, noting that it would contribute to effective dialogue and discussions on mutually interesting issues.
Ideas were exchanged regarding steps aimed at unblocking regional communication routes, including efforts to implement the TRIPP project. Reference was also made to the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17) scheduled to be held in Armenia this October. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the active participation of delegations from Arab countries in the upcoming events.
