Major Traffic Accident in Kapan: 7 People Hospitalized

On August 11, at 10:33 AM, the 112 emergency management center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report that a "HOVO" brand truck had collided with a parked "Gazelle" vehicle serving the route between Syunik village and Kapan city in the Baghaberd neighborhood of Kapan.

Police officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs promptly arrived at the scene. According to preliminary data, as a result of the traffic accident, 7 individuals were transferred to the Kapan Medical Center. Their health condition has been assessed as moderate.

The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. The health status of the injured individuals is graded as satisfactory. They are undergoing appropriate examinations and are expected to be discharged soon. There are no life-threatening cases reported. This was stated by the Ministry of Health.
