Breaking: Injured Soldier Found in Armory Has Died

On November 4, 2019, around 19:30, a mandatory conscript soldier, Private Erik Ararat Harutyunyan, was discovered in the armory of military unit N with a gunshot wound to the neck.

Private Harutyunyan succumbed to his injuries while being transported to a military hospital.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 110, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia by the second garrison investigative department, and an investigation is underway.

Necessary investigative and procedural actions are being undertaken to ensure a comprehensive, complete, and objective examination of the incident.
