Famous Composer Loris Tjganovryan Nominated as Peace Ambassador at the UN
The renowned Iranian composer, conductor, and artist of Armenian descent, Loris Tjganovryan, has been nominated as the United Nations Peace Ambassador by Iran, according to IRNA.
On Wednesday, an event titled 'World Culture' took place in Tehran. During this event, the head of the UN Information Center in Iran announced that Loris Tjganovryan, who has 70 years of experience in art and humanitarian endeavors, has been put forward as a peace ambassador. He will represent Iran at the UN.
