Two Individuals Charged in the Case of Disrespect Towards Judge Anna Danibekyan
The Investigative Committee of Armenia has charged two individuals in relation to the case of disrespect exhibited towards Judge Anna Danibekyan of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction. The charges are based on Article 332, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Armenia.
This information was shared by Naira Harutyunyan, head of the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Investigative Committee, in a Facebook post. She stated, “A request has been submitted to the court to select the measure of restraint of detention against them.”
It should be noted that a criminal case has been initiated at the Shengavit police department based on a report received related to Article 343 of the Criminal Code of Armenia, which addresses disrespect towards the court.
