Rescue Workers' Salaries to Increase

Rescue service workers do not receive additional payments for overtime, night shifts, work on weekends, holidays, as well as for performing heavy, harmful, particularly heavy, and especially harmful work.

This was announced by the Minister of Emergency Situations, Felix Tsolakyan, during today’s government session.

Following his proposal, the government adopted a decision that allows for additional payments to be made to these rescue service workers.

To achieve this, 475.8 million drams are anticipated in the 2019 state budget, and an additional 1 billion 903.2 million drams are expected to be included in the 2020 state budget.
