2.5-Year-Old Child Falls from 6th Floor and is Discharged from Medical Center

A 2.5-year-old boy named Arvin, who fell from the 6th floor of a building in Yerevan, was discharged today from the ‘Holy Mother of God’ medical center after recovering. This was reported today, September 26, on the Facebook page of the medical center’s press secretary, Gevorg Derzyan.

This hospital is my home, the staff are my family members, I am grateful to each one of them. They allowed me to continue smiling, living, and being happy with this story’s ‘HAPPY END’,” said Arvin’s mother, Marzia Viksom.

The child will continue to be under the supervision of doctors for some time, and as he left today, he was smiling and constantly thanking everyone. It was a celebration in the hospital’s corridors. It should be reminded that on September 5, at 10:32 AM, a 2.5-year-old boy fell from the 6th floor of a building located at 32 Tumanyan Street in Yerevan. The child was transferred to the intensive care unit of the ‘Holy Mother of God’ medical center in an unconscious state. He had sustained multiple injuries, including a cranial bone fracture, cerebral contusion, vertebral fractures, and pelvic fractures. He was connected to an artificial respiration device and was unconscious. Doctors assessed his condition as extremely critical. On September 9, the boy regained consciousness and recognized his parents.
