The 'Money Queue Holders': A Cause of Discontent - Open Letter to the Head of the Traffic Police and the Acting Chief of Police
Open letter from 'AVRORA MEDIA' to the temporary acting Chief of Police of Armenia, First Deputy Chief of Police Arman Sargsyan, and Head of the Traffic Police Egor Karapetyan.
Dear Mr. Sargsyan and Mr. Karapetyan,
The issue of 'money queue holders' in the registration-examination department of the Traffic Police in Yerevan has become so pressing that citizens are calling the 'Avrora' radio station every day to express their concerns. Considering the endless queues due to certain circumstances and analyzing the content of the calls we received, we propose that the Traffic Police in Yerevan establish conditional paid working hours from 18:00 to 24:00.
We assure you that citizens would prefer to direct this money to the state budget rather than provide it to individuals who engage in illegal activities and cause disputes on-site. Furthermore, this approach would allow citizens to somewhat avoid long queues.
Thank you.
