Armenians and Yezidis Engage in Massive Fight in Yekaterinburg
A massive fight occurred yesterday at the Yekaterinburg city market «Таганский ряд», which was accompanied by gunfire, reports «Аргументы и Факты. Урал». The clash took place between Armenian and Yezidi entrepreneurs.
“A discussion escalated into a brawl, which subsequently involved the use of traumatic weapons. Fortunately, the arguing parties did not cause serious injuries to each other, and there was no need for hospitalization,” the source reports.
It is also noted that the dispute was not based on ethnic grounds, but arose from the economic interests of the entrepreneurs involved.
