VIDEO: Resident of Chekhov Discovers Sponge in Bread

A resident of Chekhov, a city in the Moscow Region of Russia, discovered a piece of sponge intended for washing dishes embedded in his loaf of bread, according to the website Podmoskovye Segodnya.

Upon realizing that the bread was unfit for consumption, the man immediately returned to the store where he purchased it and received a refund. He also submitted a complaint letter to the bread manufacturer, demanding clarification on the matter.

The manufacturer acknowledged the complaint and stated that an internal investigation would be conducted regarding the incident.
