Approximately 11.5 Million AMD Recovered from Former Director of 'Hrazdan' Medical Center

The necessary investigative and procedural actions conducted by the Kotayk regional investigation department of the RA Investigative Committee have revealed several circumstances of the case involving the former director of 'Hrazdan Medical Center' LLC committing embezzlement and misappropriation of state funds through the abuse of official position.

As reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee, based on the data obtained during the investigation, the former director of 'Hrazdan' Medical Center, who held the position from 1988 to 2017, abused his official position by hiring employees at the medical center and issuing salaries to them while they were not actually working. This included signing contracts for services not rendered and withdrawing funds from the medical center, inflating the volume of completed renovations, and engaging in other methods to embezzle substantial amounts of money, resulting in significant property damage to the state.

During the preliminary investigation, the amount of damage caused to the state by the former director of 'Hrazdan' Medical Center, totaling 11,560,000 AMD, has been recovered and transferred to the deposit account of the RA Investigative Committee. He has been involved in the criminal case as a suspect, and a preventive measure has been chosen in the form of a signature not to leave.
