BMW and Nissan Versa Collide Near Almast Factory; 7 Injured, Including Children

On September 7, a major traffic accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 2:20 AM, a BMW driven by 32-year-old Edgar S. from Kotayk Province collided with a Nissan Versa driven by 33-year-old Sevak A. from Yerevan in front of number 27 on Rubinyants Street.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, Garik G., a 30-year-old passenger of the BMW, was taken to the Mikayelyan Surgical Institute with bodily injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the Nissan, Sevak A., and his passengers, 58-year-old Marine M., 33-year-old Tatevik M., 34-year-old Armine A., 9-year-old Davit A., and 6-year-old Anahit A. were taken to Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center. Subsequently, Davit and Anahit A. were transferred to Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center, while Armine A. was taken to Erebuni Medical Center.
