Armenian Spouses Holding Russian Citizenship Arrested in Azerbaijan
Two Armenians have been arrested in the village of Chaykend, Azerbaijan. This information has been reported by several Azerbaijani media outlets. According to the circulating reports, a Russian citizen couple of Armenian descent drew attention when they began photographing the village.
During their arrest, it was revealed that they are of Armenian ethnicity but possess Russian passports. The couple had stayed in Ganja as tourists before their arrest.
