Arsen Torosyans Intimidation of Regional Health Center Leaders After the CP Meeting: Gevorg Grigoryan

The CP meeting evidently was intense. This was stated by urologist and healthcare organizer Gevorg Grigoryan on his Facebook page.

“It turns out the CP meeting was quite lively... After the CP meeting, the ‘minister’ was told to somehow restore his ‘good name’ and ‘reputation,’ or otherwise he would be replaced. So what did the ‘minister’ do? Immediately after the meeting, he began to intimidate the heads of the regional health centers, forcing them to praise him and his policies. He called his subordinates, and for those who didn’t comply, he THREATENED them, insisting they praise him in exchange for the huge state orders transferred to them...”

“They praised him: ‘Arabkir’ Medical Center (let's not forget the recent share of 12 billion drams for organizing treatment for children aged 0-18), ‘Astghik’ Medical Center (2.7 billion drams state order), ‘Erebuni’ Medical Center (helicopter monopoly, almost a monopoly in stroke treatments, huge state order). I won’t dwell on the subordinates (the minister's entourage) and the directors of regional health centers, whose praise was so artificial that it even brought a smile... It was evident, as they are under the ‘minister’s’ control. I don’t criticize and approach the directors of private health centers with understanding, as the idea of ‘nothing personal, just business’ is always relevant,” he noted.
