The Ministry of Economy Unveils New Customs Rates for Vehicles
The Ministry of Economy has provided additional information regarding the customs duties for personal vehicles imported by individuals into Armenia. This was announced by Anna Ohanyan, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Economy, on her Facebook page.
According to the decision of the EAEU, as of January 1, 2020, customs duties and taxes for the import of personal vehicles for individuals will be charged in a lump sum or as a unified customs payment.
We inform that in collaboration with our partners from the State Revenue Committee, as the competent authority for customs procedures, we are discussing ways to make this information accessible to the public, as well as the introduction of a guide for vehicle import calculations,” she noted.
