Citizen Presents 2 Counterfeit 10,000 Dram Notes to Bank
On September 3, at 1:30 PM, the Central Police Department received a report from a bank employee stating that a citizen had presented two 10,000 dram notes at the Sayat-Nova branch, which appeared to be suspicious due to some unusual markings.
The responding police officers were informed by the bank employee that the notes were counterfeit. The employee pointed out two men, aged 30 and 58, who were in the bank, indicating that one of them had presented the suspicious notes for exchange.
Investigations are underway.
