Identity of Victims and Injured in Batumi-bound Minibus Accident Revealed
On August 31, at 08:44, information was received from the operational duty officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia that an accident occurred around 03:10 on the 4th km of the Gugut-Marneli highway, involving three 'Ford Transit' and one 'BMW' vehicle.
According to preliminary data, there are 2 fatalities and 19 injured individuals, including citizens of Armenia. Two Armenian citizens (Greta A., born in 1966, and Marta S., born in 1991) lost their lives in the incident.
Among the injured Armenian citizens, 7 (Lena M., Gayane B., Tatevik G., Laura K., Hasmik A., Anush M., and Mari M.) were hospitalized at the New Hospital in Tbilisi, 3 (Anna A., Vardan H., and Azat A.) were taken to the Pineo Hospital, another 3 (Lilia K., Zaven K., and Laura S.) were admitted to the Patriarchs Hospital, while 3 others (David K., Karen K., and Garnik G.) were treated at the Aramyants Hospital.
