Gyumri Woman Threw Her Child into a Trash Bin While Alive
As reported by the police, on August 31, a call was received at the Mushe police department regarding the discovery of a child's corpse in the municipal landfill of Gyumri. An operational group dispatched to the scene found the body of a one-year-old girl, with her hands and feet bound with adhesive tape.
Through immediate operational and investigative measures taken by officers of the Mushe police department, the identity of the child was established. Around 7 PM, police discovered the child’s mother on Shirakatsy Street in Gyumri and took her into custody at the Mushe police department. Circumstances surrounding the incident are being clarified. An investigation is underway.
It has also been revealed to SHANTNEWS.am that the detained woman is a 1999-born resident of the Mush neighborhood of Gyumri, divorced, and that she threw the child into a trash bin located near the White Hospital on Shirakatsy Street while the child was still alive.
