Car Import Duties to Be Based on Engine Power, Reports 'Zhoghovurd'
Starting January 1, 2020, according to the customs regulations of the EAEU, car import duties will be based on engine power, which is expected to increase the value of such vehicles by 4-5 times. This was reported by the newspaper 'Zhoghovurd'.
Despite the fact that there are still more than four months until January 1, people have started gathering funds and buying cars early at lower prices. However, it should be noted that car sellers have significantly raised prices in recent times, taking advantage of the situation. Most importers have been 'stockpiling' cars to sell at double the price after January 1.
