Car Accident and Fire in Yerevan: Details

Today, on August 28, a car accident occurred in Yerevan. At around 00:10, the Emergency Situations Ministry's 9-11 operational management center received a report that a vehicle was on fire on Tbilisi Highway. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

Police and firefighters discovered that at the specified location, a collision had occurred between a GAZ 3110, driven by 43-year-old Hovhannes A., with license plate 65 TL 839, and a Mitsubishi Grandis, driven by 40-year-old Norair P., with license plate 07 GM 070. As a result of the accident, a fire broke out in the engine compartment of the Mitsubishi Grandis, completely consuming the engine.

Firefighters disabled the vehicles and closed the valves of the gas cylinders. Police have also been informed that one person was taken to the hospital for medical assistance. This information is being clarified by the traffic police and the local police department.
