11-Year-Old Girl in Critical Condition After Accident

An 11-year-old girl is in critical condition after being involved in an accident with an unmanned vehicle parked on a street corner in Alaverdi. This information was shared by Gevorg Derzyan, the spokesperson for the St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center, on his Facebook page.

“On August 25, an unfortunate incident occurred in Alaverdi, Lori Province. An unmanned vehicle parked on a street corner struck an 11-year-old girl. The child was taken to Alaverdi Medical Center, where she received first aid, and subsequently, she was transferred to Vanadzor Medical Center. Considering the seriousness of her condition, Davit Dallakyan, the deputy director of surgery at the St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center in Yerevan, along with Anna Chobanyan, the head of the intensive care unit, traveled to Vanadzor Medical Center and performed surgery on-site, conducting a splenic procedure. After her condition stabilized, the girl was transferred to Yerevan's St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center. Her condition remains critical, and she is under strict medical supervision,” he stated.
