Artak Sargsyan Questioned

Former National Assembly member Artak Sargsyan, also known as 'SAS', has been questioned. This was reported to Sputnik Armenia by Naira Harutyunyan, head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Investigation Committee.

“Artak Sargsyan has appeared before the Investigation Committee and has been questioned. He currently has the status of a witness in the criminal case initiated back in June,” Harutyunyan stated.

Recall that a few days ago, we reported he had been summoned for questioning. Earlier, on June 5, 2019, an incident involving Artak Sargsyan occurred in the Terrazza restaurant area in Yerevan. Reports indicated that there was a dispute and a fight due to loud talking. A criminal case was initiated.

There were rumors in the media that Artak Sargsyan had provided an explanation to the police and denied his involvement in the incident. The police neither confirmed nor denied the reports about providing an explanation.
