Young Man Commits Murder with Multiple Stab Wounds, Then Burns Body

On August 18, officers from the Lori Regional Department of the Police, in conjunction with the Lori Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia and the Stepanavan Police Department, conducted joint operational and investigative actions and, following hot leads, uncovered the details of a horrific murder that took place on August 17 in the Lori region.

According to Shamshyan.com, a 20-year-old resident of the village of Gyargyur in Lori province, Aren M., has been arrested on suspicion of committing the aforementioned murder based on the investigator's decision. A preliminary conclusion by forensic experts revealed multiple stab wounds on the body.

Reports indicate that after committing the murder, Aren M. attempted to eliminate the evidence by setting his house on fire. Once firefighters arrived at the scene and extinguished the blaze, they discovered a partially charred body inside the structure.

As previously reported, a brutal and tragic incident occurred in the Lori region on August 17.
