Illegal Logging in Lori: Trees Cut Down

On July 30, a "ZIL" truck loaded with timber was discovered in the administrative area of Berdavan. According to the Police of the Republic of Armenia, during the preparation of materials, an inspection of the specified vehicle located in the designated area of the Noyemberyan division revealed approximately 3.5 cubic meters of construction timber, which did not correspond to the documents provided for timber issued by the forestry department in the name of another citizen.

The mentioned citizen explained that the construction timber belonged to him and that he had prepared it by cutting down 2 "Hachareni" trees with a chainsaw from one of the stockpiles of the Shnoghi forestry in the Lalvar forestry enterprise.
