Tragic Incident on Goris-Yerevan Highway: Driver Killed in Accident

On August 10, at 11:00 PM, the emergency services received a call reporting an accident on the M-2 highway, specifically at the 12-kilometer mark of the Goris-Yerevan section. Rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has confirmed that a firefighting and rescue unit was sent to the location. It was determined that a Nissan Teana, driven by A.A. (born in 1990), had veered off the road and overturned. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Before the rescuers arrived, the passengers, S.G. and G.M. (born in 1991), were hospitalized at Goris Medical Center, where their condition was assessed as serious by medical staff. Rescuers have disconnected the vehicle's battery and closed the gas tank valve.
