Part of Elevator Roof Torn Off from Building on Kyiv Street
On July 30, at 2:00 PM, the emergency hotline received a call reporting that the roof of an elevator from one of the buildings on Kyiv Street in Yerevan had been torn off by the wind and had fallen onto the building's roof. Assistance was required.
A rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' special operations center was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that part of the iron structural components of the elevator roof had been detached and had fallen onto the building's roof, while another part was weakened.
Rescuers secured the loosened iron components (approximately 10 square meters), and the detached portion was moved to a safe area (about 5 square meters).
