VIDEO: Director of Travel Company That Scammed Hundreds of Citizens Invited to NSS
A massive scam by a travel company has left over 100 citizens stranded in Hurghada, with no way to return to Armenia. According to the Armenian consul in Egypt, the flight was canceled because the Armenian company "A&R Tour and Travel" failed to fulfill its financial obligations. Following the consul's statement, chaos erupted outside the company's office as hundreds of aggrieved citizens gathered to demand their money back.
It was later revealed that the director of the company has been summoned by the National Security Service. The reasons behind the created turmoil have been clarified by heads of various tourist companies.
