News Ordered by the Son of a Senior Official of the Former Corrupted System: Office of Anna Hakobyan

The office of Anna Hakobyan, the wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia, has issued a statement regarding a "news" published by the "Irates" newspaper, in response to media inquiries sent to the office.

“Dear colleagues,
Today, in relation to the 'news' published by the 'Irates' newspaper, we have received inquiries from the media, to which we find it necessary to respond. According to our information, this news was ordered by the son of a senior official from the former corrupted system who paid a considerable sum for its publication. We also have evidence that several political figures and businessmen are complaining that some media outlets demand large sums of money in exchange for not publishing false, brazenly fabricated news about them. Some sources assert that there are also media outlets that accept orders to publish fake news for money from the political opponents of the heroes of their publications.
