Good News from the Ministry of Defense: Some Soldiers with Mental Disabilities to Be Discharged

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, wrote on his Facebook page: “Finally, good news. Today, a decision was made during the Government meeting to amend the famous Decision 404. This amendment will allow for certain categories of soldiers conscripted under the mental disability clause to undergo appropriate evaluations, resulting in mitigating measures. Consequently, some soldiers will be discharged, and no new conscripts will be recruited under the same clause,” wrote Hovhannisyan.
